Update 1.8 - search and donations

Today marks the start of update 1.8. In this article an overview of the most important changes (on top of smaller bug fixes, optimizations and quality-of-life improvements).

Compounds page

Starting today its possible to find compounds based on their structure using the compounds page. Go to the compounds page, click on the compound icon (top right), draw the structure to search for and click "Search". Draw multiple structures to find multiple compounds at once. At the bottom of the page you can now also browse through all the compounds, one page at a time.

Donation page

Soon it will become possible to support development through the donation page. Currently we are still testing some things, but donations should become available in the next few days.

Additions to medicinal drugs

In the previous update, change were made to the information that is stored about medicinal drugs. This update adds some more properties.

• Additions to clearance: total body clearance, total liver clearance and intrinsic clearance.
  
• Addition of elimination fraction in the urine or bile and also the metabolized fraction.
  
• Elimination half time of drugs.
  
• In some cases the origin of the information is now also displayed (for example, liver microsomes or HEK293 cells).
  
• The enzymes and metabolites involved are now also shown, where relevant and known (such as for Km/Vmax values).
  
• Distribution volume and blood-to-plasma concentration ratio.
  

This information will be added to medicinal drugs in the future, as far as it's known.

Changes to reactions

Reactions are now also integrated with the scientific citations system (as introduced in update 1.7).
